Last day in Mumbai

Today was a day for shopping and sightseeing. We visit two landmarks: the laundry, where thousands of people do the laudry for others; and the Hagi Ali mosque. Both place were ... Unforgetable.
We are now at the gate waiting to board to London. See you there.

Mombai - NMIMS and Jewellery factory

One of the worst things in Mombai (and Delhi and Bangalore) is the traffic. Today we spend almost 4,5 hours in the bus for a 60 km ride.
We had a nice presentation in the morning at Narsee Monjee Institue of Management Studies about the India market place. After lunch the group split in 3 sub groups. My group when to a jewllery factory working with diamonds.
We came back to the city center for a farwell dinner at a fancy restaurant and finished the night chatting in one of the busiest cafe downtown.

Sarees have a wonderful palete of tones and patterns. The traffic continues to be a nightmare. Bangalore is known to have the worst traffic jams, followed by Delhi and Mumbai

Bangalore (ou Bangaluru)

Today we had a nice visit to Volvo factory. It´s interesting to see that here they write with a different character-set (in the photo it is written "Volvo"). now it´s time for shopping.

And now to India

The goal of this blog is to document our trip to India. I will try to upload comments and photos through out our journey.

I'll need to rely on wi-fi or gprs coverage in India, since I will only bring my Nokia mobile phone, so probably the upload won't be so regular!

As a disclaimer, and in order to preserve individual's privacy, I will not take photos directly to people, but rather indirectly (from the back, for example) or to landscape.

Hope you enjoy and stay tune!!
